A Cold Dark Porch on Halloween
You're out for a walk on the edge of dusk. Following a trail you know dearly, you take in the golden leaves of autumn with a smile and relaxing breath. As the final threads of light disappear a house you don't recognise stands between you and the woods. You spin, questioning yourself, "Where the hell did I end up? The road should be here" With no choice left, you approach it. It seems old and empty, but you see some flickering lights and hear a dull whisper. Was that your thoughts? Unfortunately it's too dark to get your bearings and you may have to stay till morning. With an uncomfortable shiver....you hope that nothing happens.
