Barn Bash
A group of people having a grand old time, with square dances most especially and apple cider poured straight from a big dark wood barrel, and dirt cakes that the kids made. There are even still some cows, horses, and chickens in their stalls, ringing the barn and watching with indulgent amusement. Until they decide they've had enough of this human hullabaloo and placidly find their sleep. The humans, though, show no sign of flagging, and the string of lights and the fire for roasting hot dogs and apples and smores keep it light and warm. People play twister, and sit and move tables, mugs of cider in their hands.
