Couldron Bubble
Sweet smells are coming from the woods— the village witch is at it again. Some kids wander off near the forest, trying to see the witch's wooden cabin, but they've been taught better by their bedtime stories than to delve into the allure of tall trees and branches reaching for their ankles. Still, some of the more dauntless catch a glimpse of peculiarly tinted smoke fuming from her chimney, and honey light spilling from her windows. They smell cinnamon and hot milk and cherry jam, and wonder how such a wicked woman might cook such pleasant treats. No one has ever seen her, of course, but they seem convinced she laces her delicacies with the deadliest poison.
