The Scarecrow
You're walking through endless golden fields of corn and you notice the sun has turned blood orange and is rapidly sinking behind the trees. You'd better head off home before it gets too dark to see.
You turn back the way you came when something catches your eye. A lone Scarecrow is standing just feet away from you, facing your direction. Creepy.
You're sure you didn't pass it on the way, though perhaps you weren't paying attention. As you get closer to the Scarecrow you hesitate, it's eyes almost seem to glow in the twilight, wait, did it just move? no, probably just the wind....
